Jo beet gayi so baat gayi by Harivansh Rai Bacchan, (What’s gone is bygone)

Some dear friends get faraway from us;whatever be the reasons may be due to misunderstanding etc. But once gone their return is even not the same as before some knots do exist. Therefore it’s said “never break a established relationship, whatsoever”, because their return is next to impossible or rather impossible.

But we should move on;move on from the lost ones, lost friendship, So called difficult break-ups, deaths of a near and dear ones etc. Time do heals, we must gradually move-on from the obdurate attachment slowly and steadly we will see that we have found the prodigious shore eventually, by the Grace of God. Just a bit of patience is required.

Patience is the key to many door to opulence.

It’s not one’s fault for the inability to understand by the other person whom he/she is attached. What actually differentiate is the crux of the matter, the integrity and always whoever it is, if he/she is on the right side then one need not to be worrisome because as we all know our Creator is the Best judge and therefore it’s said about karma, universe returns, Good begets goodness etc. Always be honest and truthful. Don’t ever hesitate to present the facts to falsify things.

A solemn obliterate approach for the  Hireath   leads to utter disdain which leads to a person in vain almost growing oneself in the sea of non-prosperity.

What’s gone is bygone.

THEREFORE, it now reminded me of an middle school poem by one of my favorite POETS. which I am certain those who know hindi would relish it to extreme.

  1. I agree what’s gone is bygone, but I wish I had studied Hindi so I could read the poem. I’ll try to translate it using Google translate. Hopefully, it’ll be at least 80% correct. 🙂

    1. jeevan mein ek sitaara tha

      maana vah behad pyaara tha
vah doob gaya to doob gaya
      ambar ke aangan ko dekho
      kitane isake taare toote
      kitane isake pyaare chhoote
jo chhoot gae fir kahaan mile
      par bolo toote taaron par
      kab ambar shok manaata hai
jo beet gaee so baat gaee

jeevan mein vah tha ek kusum
the us par nity nichhaavar tum
vah sookh gaya to sookh gaya
      madhuban kee chhaatee ko dekho
      sookhee kitanee isakee kaliyaan
      murajhaeen kitanee vallariyaan
      jo murajhaeen fir kahaan khileen
      par bolo sookhe phoolon par
      kab madhuban shor machaata hai
jo beet gaee so baat gaee

jeevan mein madhu ka pyaala tha
tumane tan man de daala tha
vah toot gaya to toot gaya
      madiraalay ka aangan dekho
      kitane pyaale hil jaate hain
gir mittee mein mil jaate hain
jo girate hain kab uthate hain
      par bolo toote pyaalon par
      kab madiraalay pachhataata hai
jo beet gaee so baat gaee

mrdu mittee ke bane hue hain
madhu ghat phoota hee karate hain
laghu jeevan le kar aae hain
      pyaale toota hee karate hain
      fir bhee madiraalay ke andar
madhu ke ghat hain, madhu pyaale hain
      jo maadakata ke maare hain
ve madhu loota hee karate hain
      vah kachcha peene vaala hai
      jisakee mamata ghat pyaalon par
jo sachche madhu se jala hua
      kab rota hai chillaata hai
jo beet gaee so baat gaee

  2. I wrote the first paragraph of this poem behind my poetry diary when I was in school and it always inspired me to deal with all that life brought my way. There is this inherent fluidity in his poems such that every word seems to be written solely in your life’s context. Thanks for sharing the full version of it 🙂

    1. Yeah well said Neha (my cousin’s name is neha, I am feeling like you are my sister 😋😋, please nevermind my nonsense ).
Yeah, and to be honest my sister (biological) I swear wrote in her dairy she was a big “dairy girl”, the same poem.
And agreed with what you said completely and to move ahead fighting and overcoming the obstacles are a sign of a exemplified person.
Thanks for your remark, really Means a lot. 👍👍👍
