Tree

This painting inspired and instilled me with some words of appreciation. The importance of little unnoticed things but having greater face value, if we connect with nature  then surely peace accompanies.

This painting just did not pop up as is it is but painted magnificently with the ink pouring from the heart of Miss Nandita Gupta  from the poetic periscope. She is definitely not the one to meddle with obsolete and trash talks, she is a student of science and a topper in her school right now.

Follow her blog she expertises in English poetry and Hindi too with the afflatus unmatched. A blog worthy to be followed.

Nandita Gupta

All thanks to her for letting me use her painting

The tree with life standing with evergreen  delight,

Spreading out the Tenebrous branches

Absorbing rays of quantized sunshine.

Oft’n hit by storms and wild breeze

Still furiously wavering its gleeful leaves.

Gerrymandering down in the heart of the earth

Meadering gallantly withering stubborn stones

Sustaining and anchoring against the tempus blow

Miniature were they, tiny little cute radicle,

Now moving with great might and force.

They stand in the darkness and light of fate,

Acclimatizing with a great meek.

An archetype of The Creations and a silent oracle.

They were those who silently gave everything,

Their enamored shade and fruits we plucked,

Their twig we broke and insatiny we showed.

Their silent cries remained unheard

Their sap that oozed out,

With the pummeling axe,  bloodshed were carried out,

Unseen by the eyes, when their barks were whipped out.

Their stem teared unduly for the wood

Their root uprooted bartering with anthropogenic sinister shade.

They smiled and so does the nature,

We befriended the masquerading mates,

And silenced and aloof from the friend,

Who once stood with lush green history,

Neither demands nor complains.

  1. Who cares what people say..! Smile just smile. No face is sad.. everyone have different face types. Yours too. So don’t care just smileee.. 🙂 Ab smile sidhi ho ya tedhi.. smile smile hoti hai.. kisi ke bhi face par ho.. kese bhi face par. Don’t worry about what people say. 1. Must say it’s rhythmic and full of positivity and charming your readers with the spell called ‘smile’. Waving my pen at you, ‘smile’, blue light emitting from and striking your head.

      2. Your poem WATAN is awesome full of emotions filled with love of Land….I thought kabar and all and guessed a question that fell miserably wrong and in apt. Yes, you are right humans should not despise each other for different nation and tribes but appreciate each other. 😊😊
