Love*

Was that your love? 

You never told me, 

How much you loved me. 

And you kept looking at me. 

And I went away and away, faraway!! . 

 

 

Was that your love? 

Whenever you stood there for me. 

And that voice that was so heavy , 

And that your eyes was full of tears. 

And I never noticed. (How can I?) 

 

 

  

Was that your love? 

How can I decipher those? 

Wasn’t that the love was weak. 

Tis time, the mighty decider, 

That sublimes everything so easily. 

Those effervescence of happiness, 

And that effulgence of energy, 

Wast a thing of chance, 

And may be we are separated by time, 

But rest assured that our hearts beat in unison. 

And we might make the picture lovely and clear. 

I know it’s the peace 

And a tranquil aura that is required 

That Combines to form a unique elixir, 

But I am only a flying falcon without a nest, 

Without any anchor

in the turbulent storms among crabs that frown, 

Tis not love that only means togetherness, 

It’s also a form of sacrifice. 

  

 

 

 True that feelings felt were sublime 

But our ways are different, 

So does our minds, 

Our shores are parallel 

And cannot meet in the sands of time.
