Day 2 #Quotes #challenge. Ramadan special.

After wishing my family and friends over plethora of platforms over Facebook, what’sapp, Twitter (not on Twitter but its worth a mention it add some WEIGHT) .

Ramadan is a glorious month it is the month in which the Glorious Quran was revealed. As Allah (Arabic word of God) said in the Quran.

“The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong).” [2:185]

 

“Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree).” [97:1].

That’s why on the last 10th days is the holiest it is where the Lailatul Qadr is expected to be witnessed (Sahih ).

Ramadan is the month of fasting as Allah said in the Quran in 2:183.

O you havewho believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun. (Mohsin khan’s translation ).

 

Fasting as God says is not new  rather it had been prescribed to al Yahud(People the time of Moses) and AlNasara (people at the time of Jesus christ pbuh).

It is not an act of only being secluded from eating and drinking from dawn to dusk rather its a programming so that we may become Muttaqi..

Muttaqi can be translated as people having piosness, God fear (out of love) . Muttaqi is derived from Taqwa and is huge term for which there isn’t any English equivalent word.

Forget all your past and repent to the Creator and ask for guidance.

Surely for those who do fasting, understanding the essence of it. For them there is glad tidings.

I pray to God, the Creator of this universe to forgive our sins and guide us to the straight path.
