Blue moon.

I have yet to see my blue moon,
For my sky lacks even the stars.
The pole star that was there
Her shine dimmed by the dark clouds.
It’s autumn in my world, seems like
It is never ending.
Ah, my sun sometimes fails to rise.

It’s been all dark, even the green is not green
It’s just blue like how cold turns you blue.
Walking on shards of my dreams,
The endearing words I said for you
They’re still in my heart like a needle
I guess I can see the death, well that’s
inevitable but more certain than life.

The rose of my dream stand next to me,
Beautiful like never before,
And admired by almost everyone .
Among dandelions, and daffodils
There was a periwinkle smiling
It was like me living in isolation
of the mob.

Yet another day shall pass
With breeze echoing tales of pasts,
I will break this craven chains
And set myself free.
And will recollect those dust
That once formed my dreams.
Till then will you wait for me , oh! Beloved ?

    This line pulled my heartstrings.

I really liked the narrative style of the piece and the metaphor of the blue moon really accentuates with the theme of this piece.

    A stunning piece!

    Enigma 🙂
