What do you see in bereft voids dear? I am bruised soul on some lonesome town, Why do you want me to hold your hand? To walk the path of life with me. Couldn't you see my worn-out hands, And your diamond studded cloth, Cannot come along with my tattered one. I wear fake smiles, infact i dont even remember how to wear smiles and act shimmery in plastic shines, I know you will wonder As you haven't been to the Other side; where laughter and mirth cease to exist. I hope you have the guts to digest that. All I have is a veritable heart , You can vouchsafe on that but I don't trust you. Because all i see is you floundering in the sea of frivolity and uncanny hollow humdrums. You see me as commoner but i only see the path Upon which there is not the wrath of Most Supreme hath incur. Things are always black and white, isn't it? It's the matter of your perception to choose, Will you hold my hand for the light of the dawn? Or be ignorant, blinded with the flashy lights of the nights. We are walking towards our own grave, Slowly but certainly we will meet the fate, The much anticipated hour will manifest, I fear that so much that I don't see mirth, I see noises stitching your brain numb. I see it all, whilst i have only words. I have only words to give you. Will you hewn through the meandering alleys? And hold me tight for a smile I yearned. ©//Aquib //
