Happy eid.

Eid Mubarak to all of you reading this.
I wish you all good luck and happiness, may this day be the change for the good.

Just wanted to share the essence of this day and some thoughts to ponder upon besides the usual good stuffs.

Eid marks the end of the blessed month Of Ramadan in the Islamic calendar which follow the lunar system,.

.

.

Eid besides being the day of togetherness its a day to mark those who did good deeds who did justice to this this month those who fasted in the month and established prayers with sincerity, it’s not just a day for celebration its a day to continue to be the same person in the rest of the months too.
There are more feelings attached to this Eid than it seem superficially.
It’s the inner happiness of contentment.
The feeling of being grateful ,

This watermelon that I galloped each day now just seemed to look so profound? And I haven’t been thankful to the Creator.

And water we use to drink seem so ethereal that no drink can quench the thirst save the water.

That there are still people out there who think twice or thrice to buy watermelon costing Rs 60 per kg .

God has created plants, fruits etc to eat and blessed us with enormous His bounty. So merciful He is and He is the one running the universe and beyond and sustaining everything be it the unicellular organism to ginormous whale. This is beyond any human scope and understanding to manifest it.
All We just need is to thank the Creator.

Allah swt said in Glorious Quran
217157: Tafseer of the verse “We will show them Our Signs in the universe, and in their own selves, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the truth” [Fussilat 41:53]

All these that encompass the fasting, the charity, the piety is to become a better human beings, a better version of ourselves.
This is what we need to carry forward in the rest of the months.

As we all know that the Quran was revealed in this month, and to Prophet Muhammad pbuh who was an “ummi” that means he cannot read and write. As Allah said in Glorious Quran.
Chapter 29 Surah Ankaboot verse 48:(O Prophet), you did not read any book before this, nor did you write any with your hand. If it were so,the worshippers of falsehood could have been involved in doubt.

Ramadan aims at increasing one’s Taqwa that is piety and God consciousness. Taqwa as explained by a the Companion of the Prophet (pbuh) in the Sahih ahadith of Prophet Muhammad pbuh.
Which says Taqwa is when you tread a thorny path so exquisitely that you don’t get pricked even for a single time. It’s protecting yourself from sins.
And you can further read here. It’s a wide topic there are so much into it.
(Taqwa read further)

Wish you all eid Mubarak.
Stay happy, stay awesome keep smiling. Spread love.

Peace love and unity.

  2. Eid Mubarak!
And kudos to you for writing such a detailed post about Eid and not failing to mention Taqwa as well.
A small correction, if that : I know in Urdu we use Aap for the Prophet(saw) but idk if a literal translation of it as ‘you’ for English fits, and especially while talking about it on a mixed Muslin + Non-Muslim platform, many might take the ‘you’ to mean themselves. This is just my opinion, and of course there is a very good chance that I might be wrong. I hope I didn’t offend anybody.
    Eid mubarak again! 😊

  3. Thanks sister, Eid Mubarak to you as well and your family. May Allah accept our good deeds and ignore the bad ones Ameen.
Thank for asking me or pointing this out, but it’s the translation of Quran in direct speech, it’s Allah addressing to the Prophet saw. Therefore there are lot of Arabic pronouns used, since its directly revealed to Prophet Muhammad pbuh.

      1. Good so far. Biryani and Semiyan at home today, but I have to complete filling in documents that I’ve been procrastinating in doing since Thursday, so Inshallah I’ll have to get to that as well.

      1. О, я использую Google translate, вы писали по-русски, поэтому я думал, что вы спрашиваете мою почту. Я не хочу твоей почты.
I don’t know Russian, if you know English, converse me in English please. It’s difficult each time to convert your reply and then convert my reply to Russiaan.

    1. Thanks for this remark Sophia.
My efforts are just a mere speck in the hay, may be negligible really, may Allah forgive our mistakes and guide us.
I hope the same for you. How was it London, I am eager to visit London though.

      1. Insha’Allah, yes, we are all mere specks anyway compared to the Almighty. I will make dua for you. And I’m sure you’re trying your hardest too.
Aha, I’ve lived in London forever, so there was no “visiting.” Yes, you should, there are so many sites here but good luck with the weather. If you do visit, spring time is usually the best time to visit. 🙂
